I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

Tablescape For The Guys.

My husband ask me today to put a Tablescape together for him and
his Buddies for lunch before heading out to the Deer Lease in
West Texas for opening bow season.

The only food going to the lease are  Rib Eyes and bake potatoes, salad, eggs, butter and
lots of Beer. looks like a Men Thing .You think.

Most of the dinnerware is from my other fall tablescapes my centerpiece
is somewhat new. I love the feeling of the outdoors and days gone by.
My husband is my best friend I could not say No.

This is one of the salad plates.

The tablecloth is a old throw from days and night of some cold football games
here in Texas, This throw was used by my husbands Father over sixty eight years
ago. We use it all the time for football games in our town.
The duck decoy was used by my husband some years ago.

I hope you are having a good time.

My centerpiece is from PartyLite,
I love the rustic wood look.

The duck plates are part of my Vintage
collection, The pattern is Garganey by John Gould {1804 to 1881}
from Germany. This is the man cave in west Texas
All the comfort of home: kitchen and two bedrooms lets not forget
the full bathroom oh yes.. with hot and cold water.

I hope you all come Back!!
Please take a moment to comment.
Thank you so much!
I am linking up with these Blogs for there linky parties.

Sounds like my son. He has a trailer with all the conveniences. Our deer season is open now for guns. He loves going and spending the weekend with the fellows. However, they do not have table setting and feast like this.

What a terrific send off you gave your man and his buddies! The t'scape you've created is perfect for a "manly" crowd! I like the throw for the background and your duck salad plates add to the theme. The centerpiece is great and candlelight always seems to signal a celebration which I'm sure the men were feeling!

Bravo, Diane! You hit it out of the ballpark and made this man-style table something any guy would feel comfortable sitting at with no doubt! I love the nostalgia attached to the throw you used.
