I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

My Thanksgiving Tablescapes

 ~~~Happy Thanksgiving ~~~
I started with my best china that I always use for the
special holiday occasions. This china was my
mother-in-laws and the pattern is called Miami
By Theodore Haviland, from France. I have all the
serving pieces and settings for eight.
I wanted it to be rustic and woodsy for
Thanksgiving Day and for a dinner like this I always
have a buffet table for all the food and dessert !
I like to keep my centerpiece rustic for Thanksgiving
with fall leafs, yellow mums, and some turkey feathers
and deer antlers just for fun.
I also uses my elegant flatware with my thin
stemware for my Thanksgiving table.
I put a little pumpkin in my glasses just for fun.
This is my dessert plate
Salad plate.
Dinner plate.
I made the napkins for Thanksgiving to carry the
holiday theme. They are 18" by 18" and I lined
them for a crisp look.
I hope you all come back ! Take a moment to
comment, thanks so much and have a
Great Thanksgiving from my home to yours.
Texas Chili Dinner Tablescape
I decided to set up my Tablescape in my kitchen eating
area this time. Chili does not look good on my Tablecloth!
The little sombrero basket is for flour tortillas!!
I purchased my dishes from Pier One five years
ago and the pattern is called Jade Leaves.
The Chili Tureen was purchased at a garage sale
two years ago. I put the Tureen on lazy susan
with serving bowls around the Tureen. It make it
much easier to " pass the chili "!
