I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

Christmas Past Tablescape.

Hi ladies, this is my Christmas Tablescape of  2010.
I hope you remember this one.
The only reason for this repost is because of my
new follower on my blog now.
For my centerpiece I use my vintage candle holders
from the 40th's.

I had three layers of my Haviland china with my vintage
stemware from France on a red charger.

I purchased the snowman glasses are from the Dollar Store
some year ago.

I did add a red Christmas ball in my vintage stemware just for fun.

I'm hoping you all are having a lot of fun putting your
 Christmas Tablescapes together.

This tablescape was just for my family ~~

I have some ideas for this years Christmas tablescape.

I love the candle light for Christmas Eve dinner.

You can see my Christmas tree in the other room all lit up.

Giving Thanks.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving
With your family's ~

My inspiration for my Tablescape is having family over
for Thanksgiving Day.

I did this Centerpiece just for Thanksgiving dinner.

I have five layers of China on the gold charger.
You all remember my Theodore Haviland china.  The pattern
is Miami. This was my Mother-in-law's china.  She had great taste.

I made my napkins some time ago.

I did add some Wild Turkey feathers from
West Texas to my centerpiece.

I hope you all come Back!

Tablescape For The Guys.

My husband ask me today to put a Tablescape together for him and
his Buddies for lunch before heading out to the Deer Lease in
West Texas for opening bow season.

The only food going to the lease are  Rib Eyes and bake potatoes, salad, eggs, butter and
lots of Beer. looks like a Men Thing .You think.

Most of the dinnerware is from my other fall tablescapes my centerpiece
is somewhat new. I love the feeling of the outdoors and days gone by.
My husband is my best friend I could not say No.

This is one of the salad plates.

The tablecloth is a old throw from days and night of some cold football games
here in Texas, This throw was used by my husbands Father over sixty eight years
ago. We use it all the time for football games in our town.
The duck decoy was used by my husband some years ago.

I hope you are having a good time.

My centerpiece is from PartyLite,
I love the rustic wood look.

The duck plates are part of my Vintage
collection, The pattern is Garganey by John Gould {1804 to 1881}
from Germany. This is the man cave in west Texas
All the comfort of home: kitchen and two bedrooms lets not forget
the full bathroom oh yes.. with hot and cold water.

I hope you all come Back!!

Veterans Day This Monday.

My Inspiration for this Tablescape was having
some friends over for Veterans Day dinner this coming Monday.

A special thanks to all of the Veterans today and all of those
that are presently serving in the Military and their families.
God Bless you all!

I purchased my poppy salad dishes and the soup bowls some
time ago from Ross, for $12.00 for both sets of four.

My Centerpiece ~~ I put together some time ago with
silk Poppy Flowers. Time to light the candles.

I love candle light with dinner.

I love the red poppies on the plates with the
white back ground. I did use my red chargers to keep
the colors together for this Tablescape.

You all know!! I always mix my plates
with other dishes. I also hope you have a wonderful
Veterans Day on Monday with your family.

The white dinner plates are from Pier One.
I  only have four layers of plates this time. I put a red tablecloth under
the Vintage embroidered table topper with the red poppy flowers.

I hope you all come Back next week !
