I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

Lets Go Nautical !!

Being by the Gulf """ I do a lot of Nautical Tablescapes !!
I purchased some new dishes on Ebay. Set of 8 Oldfaire Shell
Shaped off white pearl color dinner plates...
I  am doing a re'post on this Tablescape seeing we
are having a Nautical dinner tonight for some friends.

I did use some shells to hold some tea candle
just for fun...

I did add shells to the placemat's just for fun...

I purchased the napkin rings at Good Will for $ 1.00 set of eight.
Looks just like Coral !! I made the napkins some time ago.
I just love this dish for a Nautical look.

My Nautical Runner is from a shop I go to all the time.
Hidden Treasures...

I purchased the blue and white dishes from the dollar store for
$1.00 each...

Lets have a glass of wine before dinner...
All the glass''s are also from the Dollar Store..
For dinner Creamy crab bisque, then cold Shrimp salad with Mango salsa~~
then Crab cakes and Scallop !!

I hope you all come Back!!
Please take a moment to comment. Thank you so much!!
I am linking up with these Blogs for there linky parties.

Diane, what a great tablescape. I just got back from a trip to Naples, Fl and spent time at the beach. Your tablescape with the shells reminds me of that...

Can you share your creamy crab bisque recipe?

Your nautical tablescape is awesome!!! I love it, what deals you got on everything, wow. I can rarely find napkin rings at GW but I'm always looking. The ones you got are fantastic. Good for you!

Love your nautical tablescape. I see you are also talented at making your own napkins. I have been thinking of getting my machine out for a little sewing but we'll see. I bought the blue glasses at DS but haven't seen any dishes with blue, I need to stop by there. I have been wanting to do a blue tablescape. Thanks for your inspiration.

Beautiful! I love those napkin rings, what a great Goodwill find!! I love that you make your own napkins, I just may have to give it a try. I also like how you used the shells to hold your tealights.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Very pretty Diane. Nothing says summer like a beautiful nautical themed tablescape. The napkins you made are perfect with the crisp blues and whites. Great job of capturing the "By The Sea" look.

Hi Diane! I love all things sea related too! When you said that you purchased your table runner at Hidden Treasures, I had to investigate because that was a favorite of mine as well. I used to live in Pasadena, Texas and see that you live in League City. I'll bet our paths have crossed before because I too use to visit both of their locations all the time (and even put things on consignment when we moved!) Small world, isn't it?
I LOVE your table. The blues and white are perfect. Everything looks like you're ready to dive into the "Gulf"! It's nice to meet you!! Sharlotte

Make energy efficiency a sure thing in your home by installing a programmable thermostat and putting other appliances on timers.
