I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

Victorian Pink On Black

My Inspiration for this Tablescape was the
Pink Victorian lace shawl . I have over my black dress for New Years Eve.

My ladies friends came over for dinner last week.
This was so much fun !! This was a Party for us..

I purchased this soup bowl  from Hidden Treasures some time ago.
Thanks you Sher for the pattern Roseland. By Gibson.

This is my pink Depression glass plate. From Ebay !!
I love shopping on Ebay...
You all Remember my Apple Blossom Chain by Haviland ?
The white Charger are from Pier-One.

I put my pink shawl over my black tablecloth, for the
Victorian look.. Hope you like this Idea.

My sweet Tea Cup from my Haviland China set.

The placemat's are Vintage lace from Ebay ..
Let's have a glass of wine before we Eat... Leftover Seafood Gumbo soup
with Crab-cakes and Okra, for dessert Bread pudding with a rum sauce.

I hope you all come Back!!
Please take a moment to comment. Thank you so mush!
I am linking up with these Blogs for there linky parties. I hope you come with me.!

The beautiful shawl looks wonderful over the black tablecloth! I love your Haviland. The pattern is similar to Rosalinde, which was my mother-in-law's and is now my daughter's pattern. So feminine!

I came by after you left such a sweet comment on our blog. So glad I did. We love tablescapes, so we are going to follow your blog. I enjoyed seeing your ideas very much. I always forget to do something with napkins. I usually stick them in rings, but there is so much more to do with them. Thanks for inspiring me.

Hi, I just found your blog via Ivy and Elephants. I love your tablescape. It's one of my favorite things to create especially at Christmas, but I used to cater and the table display was one of my favorite parts.

Diane...I think layering the pretty pink shawl over a black tablecloth is a lovely idea...it really gives the table an air of "Victoria". Your dishes, stemware and the accessories add to the allure of an afternoon luncheon served to close friends in an era of long ago!! I just love it!!
Thanks for sharing...I always enjoy your tablescapes!! Francy (Yasmin)
