I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

Christmas In The Park.

My Inspiration for the tablescape was!
A lunch for my lady friends
before going out Christmas Shopping.

I did my centerpiece using one small Christmas Tree .
How do you like the way I put this together ?

I m using a red tablecloth with my vintage crocheted one on top.
I also put big bows on just for fun.

I purchased the dinnerware at the Good Will for $7.99
The pattern is Christmas in the park~~ porcelain China 20 piece service for four
had never been used and was in the Box .

I did use a dark green charger with three layers of China.

 Dinner plate~~
I love the pattern with the Christmas tree.

I'm using the salad plate for a dessert plate.

Let have a glass of wine!. the stemware is from France,
this was a gift for my Birthday.

I put a nice lunch together. Hot tomato and basil soup, a spring mix salad, with blue cheese
dressing and hot Rueben Sandwiches. For dessert Cheesecake.

This is the shop we always go to !!
The Enchanted Christmas Cottage in Kemah, Texas.

I hope you all come Back!
Please take a moment to comment. Thank you so much!

Diane, do you ever visit Old Town Spring? It's been a few years since I've been there ... love it at Christmas and always visit the fudge shop ... the pumpkin fudge is to die for! :D :D I love your pre-shopping luncheon. The dishes are a great GW find. I keep saying I need to visit GW and don't get there! Love you little tree on the table with the birds and the big red bows. Your crocheted table cloth is lovely over the red cloth. Merry, Merry and a Happy Happy!

Gosh it amazes me how there are people just like me out there loving the same type of things and having similar design skills. I took photos last week of my Christmas setting which is very similar to yours in layout, mine is Mauve/silver but I also used a round table and a small tree as a centrepiece :)

Hope you get a chance to take a look at mine, I am new to blogging and it is the first tablescape I have done, would love some feedback :)....I have become addicted to blogging!
