I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

~~Just Us Two ~~

My Inspiration for this tablescape is just a romantic dinner with
my Husband ! Just the two of us.
I did use a black tablecloth and added one of my
Vintage style embroidered tablecloth as a topper!!!
I just purchased my vintage napkins from Ebay.
so sweet with the little Daisys.
My salad plate is from Home Goods,
and the dinner plate is Lotus by Poppytrail from Ebay.
I made my Napkins rings.~~
I would like to thank Michael Lee for her sweet Book.
It is time for some Candlelight !!
And have a cold glass of wine ~~ Right now it is 8:00 pm
with a temperature of 90 degree. Am I glad it has cool off !!!

I know you need to know what's for Dinner ...
Island Chicken on a skewer, and grilled pineapple with rice,
with a mango tossed salad !!!
I hope you are all having Fun.
My white bowls will be holding Tootsie Roll Fudge with
Blue Bell Vanilla Ice Cream and M&M's; sooo yummy!!!
This is for you Tootsie ~~ I love your Challenge sweet lady!

So pretty Diane. I like the yellow plates and the sunflower ones too. I love a 90 degree evening and I'd even go for an 80 degree one! But, I guess it'll be a 60 degree or less one tonight. You'd love that wouldn't you! Have a great week! Pamela

Dianne, this is such a fun table and romantic. Don't you love eBay? It's a shopper's paradise. And don't you just love Michael Lee's book? I thoroughly enjoyed it when I read it. I need to check out some of the recipes. I haven't been doing as much cooking lately. I love what you're serving, and I love what you're serving it on, including the vintage cloth.

Warm hugs (or should they be cool ones in this heat???)...

XO,

Sheila

Sweet Diane. I love this table. You linens and the sunflower plates are so pretty. I have those same little doves. I have had mine for over 40yrs. Have you had those a long time. That dinner sounds so good. The temp is high but but your grass looks nice and green. I am still feeling the pain of that last water bill.
