I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

repost Summer Time Get Together ~~

My inspiration for this Tablescape was my new stoneware from Ebay~~
The pattern is Furio Pink Flower, from Italy~~

I have five layers of dinnerware !! On each vintage placemat ~~
The top is a custard cup.. I'm putting brownie on the bottom of the cup with
Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream on top. maybe some Chocolate Syrup... Oh Yes!

This is my salad plate... I love the pink flowers.~~

This is my dinner plate.
I did use my pink Depression glass plates in between my new plates..
I did use my black tablecloth to accent,
the ribbon lace vintage placemats from Ebay..

My ceterpiece is my soup tureen ~~~
filled with Hydrgenea and Magnolias..

A close look at my placemats and flatware..

I know you are wondering what's for dinner..
Well, we are having short ribs prepared in the slow cooker, yummy
and new potatos in butter and rosemary.. With baby carrots..

This is my new Vintage Napkins from Ebay..

I love a candle light dinner it really sets the mood for my Guests...
Lets have a glass of wine ladies and gentlemen...

I hope you all come Back!!!
Please take a moment to comment. Thank you so much !

Unless we have company we as a rule always use foam plates. You are making me want to see real dishes on the table. You do great work.

Hi Diane, and thanks for visiting my blog! You are such an excellent designer! I am not, and have to rely on the ideas of people like you! Your table today is gorgeous, and I love the way the black tablecloth sets off the white placemats and napkins, I never would have thought of that. Did you make that centerpiece, do you have magnolias? Dishes and placemats are one of my weaknesses, I have bought so many that I had to stop!

Hi and thank you for coming to follow my blog. I used to love making my tables as pretty as can be but since I am getting older I don't out do myself any more. I can look at tables and admiring everything that is there .I love china and dinnerware and I have so much of it that I don't know where to put it any more since we downsized. I love this tablescape here and I love that dinnerware. I also love the placemats, so elegant. Maybe when looking at all this beauty maybe I will get in the mood again. LOL
Have a nice day.
