I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

Patio Dinner Party..

My Inspiration for this Tablescape was having family over for
~~~ A dinner on my patio !! This was my first time this Summer, because of the Hot
Weather....
No tablecloth on this table ~~ I did use my light green placemats, and my ever
day flatware.. The same green color is in the salad plates.
My centerpiece was a mix of Magnolias and Hydgenea flowers.. Can you see my
Green vase is on my blue vintage plate for more height~~ because of the Candles..
I did use my vinage white napkins, and a light green color one !!!
The green glass will be filled with cold shrimp..Yummy
I Purchased my salad plate, and dinner plate from Wal-Mart for $1.50 each!!
This was great buy for my Summer table. I love the butterflys sweet.
I also love the pattern ~~ The color of this dinner plate is a Teal Blue~~~
Lets light the Candles, and have a glass of Wine !!!
I hope you all come Back !!!
Please take a moment to Comment. Thank you so much!!
Iam linking up with these Blogs for there linky Parties...
That was an amazing tablescape but I sure hope your temperatures are less than it is in NC which will be triple digits for the rest of this week.
Yay!! Blue and green always have a calming cool effect and the butterflies just say "summer"! It's just too humid here to even think about eating outside.....but I wouldn't mind if it was in the lower 80's eating your shrimp!!
I just love the cool refreshing colors you chose for this tablescape. The centerpiece is lovely. I think it's one of my favorites. The plates are so pretty,especially the butterflies. Do you know the butterfly story? It goes like this...when you see a butterfly it's a reminder of someone whose gone on before. They are telling you to be as the butterfly...happy and carefree. Life is too short not to enjoy.
What time shall I arrive for this lovely evening on the patio? I'll wear my best summer hat and come expecting a wonderful evening...teehee.
Til next time...
God bless you with JOY!
Hey, Diane! Long time no talk to! Looking good! I know what you mean about not wanting to entertain outdoors in this unforgiving heat. It has been just excruciating!!!!!!! I rarely venture out of the house except for trips to the grocery store and the pharmacy. TOO hot!!! I hope your summer is going well just the same. Take care!
The first thing I love about your tablescapes is that they aren't matchy-matchy. The second thing I love is the colors you use.
And then you have the pretty butterfly plates here. They add a big punch, don't they?
Where do you store all your stuff? Will you ever or have you ever posted about how you organize it so you can find it when you want it?
