My family loves seafood so I decided to do an
Nautical Tablescape and share it with you all!!!
This is a Re' Post
I had this Nautical runner and never use it,
I purchased the runner from Hidden Treasures~~
I purchased the blue and white dishes from
the dollar store for $1.00 each.
I made my napkins one more time ~~
and put dark blue napkins rings on them.!!
I purchased four Nautical plates
from a Vintage shop in town $15.00
I love them ~~~
I purchased this soup tureen at a thrift shop
for $8.00 { I came in the shop at the right time~~
The focal point of my Tablescape is the
centerpiece, using four blue vase ~~
with flowers from Krogers !! and two nautical ships.
For dinner Creamy Crab Bisque, with a
shrimp and scallop salad with mango salsa~~
then Crab cakes with Orange Marmalade sauce!
I hope you all come back!
Please take a moment to comment and thank you

This is beautifully conceived and executed! My husband doesn't like seafood, so I've never really spent time preparing fish. Therefore, I never seem to think that a nautical tablescape would be appropriate for beef or chicken...go figure. But...I do really love the look...maybe some day. Thank you for sharing your wonderful design. Cherry Kay
Ahoy!
I love the lantern, sail boat plates and the table runner! All great details! I'll send my husband your way, he loves seafood.
Great job Diane!
You are so talented, this is a perfect execution of a nautical table, couldn't be better. The runner, the sail boat plates, the runner, the blue strippedplates, just terrific! Sea food sounds great, I love it! Thank you for sharing.

Oh, my, that menu sounded DELICIOUS -- even at 5:25 a.m., when I read about it! Your table looks wonderful -- I love how your blue sailboat plates add such interest to the plainer blue and white ones. The runner and napkins look great together, too! Thanks for following me -- I've just returned the favor.
Diane, you are really soooo talented. I clicked on every picture to enlarge and see all the little details. Your glass floats on the side board were the perfect little touch and your tall ships for the centerpiece are so interesting! I always enjoy your tables and leave inspired! Linda
I love everything nautical, so your wonderful plates really appeal to me. I also love how you ahve the lantern as a "lighthouse" for your table. You really got a great deal on the tureen...very lucky!
Beautiful table...the centerpiece of the sailboats is perfect. I would have been so happy to dine with you...awesome menu!

Hi Diane,
I love your nautical tablescape! The details are just great. I love the blue and white plates, the plaid cloth napkins, the navy napkin rings, and the red chargers look like they have a rope border. Your ships are so handsome as a centerpiece, and I love the lighthouse lantern. This is so creative, and it looks like such a fun table at which to eat a home cooked seafood meal! Enjoy your weekend.
Denise

What a lovely vignette! I adore the sailboat plates.
Have a wonderful Fat Tuesday!
Oh, I see the little mouse with the quill. He's sweet.
This table is so great. I love so many things here. I saw those dishes but I am running out of space. No one would ever know that these dishes were a bargain. You really lucked out with the sailboat plates and the soup tureen. I need to make some napkins because I can't always find what I need. Love the sailboats too and don't you just love Kroger flowers. Another classy table by another classy lady. Hugs, Ginger
Hi Diane- Good to see you back! I still like this one because it's nautical! I need to remember to do one and use a sail boat too! Hope you are doing well- Xo, Liz
The nautical ships are wonderful! Are those blue and white fish next to the blue vases? Love the idea of arranging your table to complement your meal!

Love the nautical theme. The sail plates are great.
Creative and a fun table. Has so much personality. You serve wonderful food too.
This is a repost, Diane? I don't remember it. Maybe you posted it before you and I became blog buddies. I'm glad you reposted it, though, because it's really cool! I love the boats!!! I don't like to go sailing (I get seasick at the drop of a hat!), but I love to look at all kinds of boats and imagine myself NOT getting seasick on them! :-)
The dollar store dishes work quite well with your vintage boutique nautical plates. They look like they were made for each other! The runner is g-r-e-a-t!!! You need to pull that out and use it more often! The lighthouse on it is cool!!!
SCORE on the soup tureen!!! It pays to be in the right place at the right time!!!
I've missed seeing your weekly posts. I hope all is well with you and your family. Take care!
What a fun tablescape. The navy nautical plates are such a great find. And your sailboats in the centerpiece are stunning. They are so unique. Such a great table!
Don't use your dishwasher until you have a full load. Make sure your dishwasher is full before using it, hecause it takes the same amount of water and energy to wash a full load as it does half a load. Use the shortest cycle possible, if you can, turn the dishwasher off prior to the drying cycle, opening the door. This allows the dishes to air dry.satta king
