I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

As usual, you have outdone yourself.I love the Haviland Apple Blossom is absolute beautiful. You have so many beautiful things it is hard to know where to look. what pattern is the soup? It is so pretty. I love the wine cooler is it a wine cooler or did you repurpose something? It looks exquisite with the wine. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Hugs, Ginger

The Haviland Apple Blossom always sings of gracious Southern Hospitality. You've mixed them skillfully with your other beautiful pieces. Thanks for the invitation. Bon temps roulet!...or something like that. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay

I have never been to Mardi Gras. Given this lovely table, I have a feeling that I would be much happier at a dinner party at your house!

When should I be there?

I just came over from Tootsie Time. Love your beautiful tablescapes. I find I either have time for cooking or creating pretty settings.... my family prefers I spend the time on cooking lol. I usually end up with a pretty table too, but not nearly as exquisite as yours. Just beautiful.

Hi Diane, I am SO glad you visited me and left a comment, so that I could visit back. You and I have 3 things in common; we both blog, we have the same last name, and you live in the same city as my daughter and son-in-law! Your table is pretty. I especially like the Haviland plates and the masks and beads on the stemware. Nicely done! I am now following you.
