I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

~~~Romantic Evening Tablescape For Two~~~
I decided to have a Romantic dinner with my
Husband~~~
I did not make my napkins this time. The white
ones are my Vintage ones with a accent of red !
I decided to add Red Cardinals to the napkins ring
just for fun.
I did use my Vintage flatware with my thin
stemware for this Romantic evening with my sweet
husband of 24 years.
I told my husband wish we had a ocean view~~
He said we don't need one we have each other !!
How sweet of him~~
Let's light the candles and have a glass's
of wine !!!
Lace covered table and a cozy dinner for Two !!!
I use the centerpiece from my lest Tablescapes``
I did add pink rose's from my garden !!!
I purchased the dinnerware at the Dollar Tree store
two day's ago, the red salad dishes are from Kohl's~
I love the Red Cardinals~~~~
I hope you all come back!!!
Please take a moment to comment and thank so much!
Have a great time with your Tablescapes !!
Your tablescape is beautiful. Doesn't it make dinner taste even better when your table is set so pretty.
I have those plates from Dollar Tree too and I love them!
That is the prettiest table. Happy Anniversary. We will be married 45 years soon and will go out for dinner. Just curious but what did you cook? Did I tell you before that Blue Willow (on your sidebar) is my favorite dishes ever. They are in our place up north. Snowbirds here in Florida.
I knew that I would like this by the thumbnail because I love bold red and white together.
I love your whole place setting. The vintage napkins are lovely, and I love the cardinal perched on top!
What a lovely and very romantic table. And what a romantic husband:
"I told my husband wish we had a ocean view~~
He said we don't need one we have each other !!"
That's just too wonderful, and he's a definite keeper!
Lovely tablescape. Thank you for sharing it with us, and I adore the Dollar Tree and Kohl's!
I hope you will drop by my blog as I'm having a china drawing. Would love for you to join in the fun.
Hi Diane!
Such a beautifully romantic table for just the two of you...well done! I love the addition of the cardinals. They are Ohio's state bird. I must make a note to get some.
Your linens make me drool with envy. I have such a passion for lace & cutwork items like that. Wish I had more!
We will be married 24 years this coming Valentines Day.
I see some pretty blue & white dishes on your sidebar so I'm going to get a fresh, hot cuppa tea & spend an hour poking around your blog. I'll also follow you! We share the same love of dishes.
I really like "Tables for Two" and yours is so pretty The cardinals on the napkin rings are a wonderful touch and go nicely with the red on the salad bowls. We have a similar set up with a small table in front of a window with only a street view (no ocean for us either!)but the two of us enjoy many meals there.
When I was a little girl I dreamed of tables with crystal stem ware, silver tea service and damask table clothes. When I married he wanted none of that! So now I'm divorced and my beautiful long oak table is filled with quilts in several stages for GC. The china cabinet is filled with Xmas dishes from Wal-Mart. The my children used and broke many of the dishes that were in there when I had to go to work. Oh well, they were meant to be used. Then 3 GC that each gave me a set so we would have 12 place settings were thrilled when I put them in the china cabinet.Someday I hope to have a beautiful table set like yours.
