I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

~~~My Garden Tablescapes~~~
My inspiration for this Tablescape was looking
at some pictures of my garden last Spring.
I have a dark green tablecloth and my crocheted
one over it for some textured.
I made my napkins one more time because I could
not find ones with Magnolias. All six are lined
for a crisp look.
The focal point of my Tablescape is the centerpice,
an old watering can I used for my flower
arrangement. The flowers are Alstro mixed with
baby breath.
My white duck is for bread sticks.
I love using real flowers.
Come be my guests!!
My water goblets and wine glasses are from
Hidden Treasures.
I purchased my dinnerware from the Dollar store,
but the fruit plates are vintage over 60 years old.
I have this plate on the left side.
I love a candle light dinner it really sets the
mood for my guest ~~
I hope you all come back!!! Please take a
moment to comment and thank you so much!
Have a great time and fun with your BLOG!!!
Beautiful table! I'm loving everything Magnolia these days so especially appreciated the napkins. What kind of fabric do you line them with? Where did you buy the magnolia fabric? Great flower arrangement. It is clear that you are hooked, verifiable dish addiction. Me too. What a great way to spend time, hunting for dishes and dreaming up beautiful tables. Continue to post and celebrate all things beautiful in the home! ~CJ
You and I were thinking along the same lines this week...the yellow in the napkins is lovely...I'm so impressed that you make them. I make tablecloths, but haven't tackled napkins. Your crochet cloth is beautiful, too! Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
Hi, Diane! It still blows me away that you sit down and MAKE napkins from scratch! I have just started to learn to sew and have made 3 tablecloths so far. Napkins seem SO much harder. I don't know why. At any rate, you're my hero for making them! I have always loved magnolias, and your napkins look terrific! Have a great Sunday and a wonderful week!
