I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

My Thanksgiving Tablescapes

 ~~~Happy Thanksgiving ~~~
I started with my best china that I always use for the
special holiday occasions. This china was my
mother-in-laws and the pattern is called Miami
By Theodore Haviland, from France. I have all the
serving pieces and settings for eight.
I wanted it to be rustic and woodsy for
Thanksgiving Day and for a dinner like this I always
have a buffet table for all the food and dessert !
I like to keep my centerpiece rustic for Thanksgiving
with fall leafs, yellow mums, and some turkey feathers
and deer antlers just for fun.
I also uses my elegant flatware with my thin
stemware for my Thanksgiving table.
I put a little pumpkin in my glasses just for fun.
This is my dessert plate
Salad plate.
Dinner plate.
I made the napkins for Thanksgiving to carry the
holiday theme. They are 18" by 18" and I lined
them for a crisp look.
I hope you all come back ! Take a moment to
comment, thanks so much and have a
Great Thanksgiving from my home to yours.
Beautiful Diane. I love your rustic centerpiece. The china is beautiful. You are lucky to have it passed on down. Your cute name cards make it very complete. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours...Linda
Love the pumpkins in the dessert(?) glasses. Nice idea to elevate them. Those napkins are great. I'd love to see a close-up of the fabric and the napkin ring.
You're lucky to have inherited such nice china - and will the serving pieces too!
We always buffet it too.
Hello, Diane!!! Hope your Thankgiving was fabulous! I am SO late getting to see all the beautiful tables, but I was up to my elbows in cooking & cleaning all week. Now I have a chance to sit and relax before diving into the Christmas decorating. We have one party planned already for the coming week! :-( I'M NOT READY!!! At any rate, your table is gorgeous! You have such an eye for mixing the rustic with the fine things on this one! Those striped pumpkins are so fun, and they really add a lot. You hit a homerun, girlfriend! Have a great rest of the weekend!!!
