I love designing tablescapes. I started back in September 2010 and I now design tablescapes to share on my blog as well as on "Between Naps on the Porch" for Tablescape Thursdays.

My passion for designing tablescapes has sent me out on a search to buy more dishes that I can share every week.

I also enjoy making my own napkins to go with my different dishes and I love to mix and match some of my beautiful dishes.

~~My Love Of The Beach !

My Inspiration for this Tablescape was my love of the Beach !!
I have only four layers of dinnerware this time...
I wanted to keep my tablescape casual for the beach..
I did my Centerpiece with three different types of coral !!
I did add some shells and starfish for the Beachy look..
My white bowl's will be holding ~~
Broiled oysters with herbed bread crumbs on top !!
So Good...
I purchased my red dishe from Pier One..
One year ago !
This blue salad plate with the Boat ! Is so Beachy..
You know. I love to mix my Dinnerware ~~~
Looking down !!
My wood placemats are from Ebay.
Ladies. I hope you are having fun at my Beach Party...
I know you need to know what's for dinner..
I hope you all like Crab Cakes with Remoulade sauce,
Cole slaw and Fried green tomatoes... Yummy..
It time for some Candlelight and pink Margaritas ice cold.

I hope my Beach party is keeping you all cool...
I hope you all come Back !!
Please take a moment to comment. Thank you so much !

Hi Sweet Diane! I too love the beach and would give anything for this wonderful dinner while sitting at your lovely table! I love all your colors and that menu sounds so good! I've only had fried green tomatoes once in my life (I was about 16 years old) cooked up by a women from the South and they were one of the best things I've ever eaten yet have never had them since.
I guess I should learn to cook them since living in the Pacific Northwest our 'matoes typically won't ripen in the rain!!!
Hugs,
Terry

girlie girl...this is fantastic!!! I am out of breath from running right over here as soon as I got your comment....I am so glad I did!!
I love it! I just don't know how you do it!
those of us who are inept in this craft...should challenge you to see if you can do anything!!! I am pretty sure you could...wow..
Do you belong to a dishes club or some sort of thing where you get new ones in a magazine to look at all the time....how long have you been collecting dishes etc? I am just in awe of how many of the tablescaper ladies have so many....and how beautiful at table can be done!

here's a challenge...for you...make one for ME. (oh boy...I might regret this hey? Just not one with lollipops and straight jackets...lol but one that would say Tootsie) Can you do that? lol

So much to love here, the shell in the napkin ring, the sailboat painting on the plate, the cute round fish salt and pepper, and the pedestal tumblers. A feast for the eyes before a bite is even eaten!

Diane, this is gorgeous. I love mixed dinnerware too, especially for a beach theme--the more relaxed, the better. LOVE crab cakes so don't mind if I do, and a margarita would be divine in this weather.

Thank you for your sweet comment over at my place. Glad you stopped by and joined in with the regular readers. I am joining in with the bunch here and taking your doorbell/button with me to add to my doorbell collection as well as adding you to my sidebar blogroll to not miss a thing.
